These terms apply to website design, build, hosting and care-plan services provided by Job Finish. A signed proposal or written agreement for a specific project takes precedence over anything here if the two disagree.
We provide a free initial mockup and review at no cost and with no obligation. Quoted price ranges on our site are starting guidance; your final price is confirmed in writing before work begins.
Build projects are invoiced as agreed in your proposal, typically with a deposit before work begins and the balance due at launch. Care plans are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are due on receipt unless stated otherwise.
To keep a project on schedule we need timely content, feedback and approvals from you, plus access to any accounts required for launch. Delays in providing these will move the timeline. You confirm that any text, images or logos you supply are yours to use.
We move quickly and most builds launch within days of receiving your content. Any timeline we give is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee, and depends on scope and your response times.
Your project includes the revision rounds stated in your proposal. Changes that expand the agreed scope — extra pages, new features, a different direction after approval — are quoted separately before we proceed.
On final payment, you own your website's design, content and files, and your domain and accounts are registered in your name. We may reference the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to. Any third-party components keep their own licences.
Care plans run month to month with no minimum term. You can cancel any time with written notice before your next billing date; we don't pro-rate part months. On cancellation we'll hand over your site files and help you move to another host. Monthly edit allowances don't roll over.
Sites may rely on third-party services such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery and analytics. Those services are governed by their own terms and their availability is outside our control.
We'll fix defects in work we delivered, at no charge, for 30 days after launch. Beyond that, services are provided as-is. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question.
Because work begins immediately, deposits are non-refundable once design work has started. If you're unhappy, tell us — we'd rather fix it.
Either of us may end a project in writing. You'll be invoiced for work completed to that point, and we'll hand over what's been produced.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Updates don't alter agreements already signed.
