Website redesign and refresh

You already have a site. It just looks like it was built a while ago — and it is costing you the customers who check before they call.

A dated website does more damage than no website. People read it as a signal that the business itself might be dated, or gone. If your site is slow on a phone, has a layout that breaks, or still lists a service you stopped offering two years ago, that is what prospects are judging you on.

A redesign is usually faster and cheaper than a build from scratch, because the hard part — knowing what you do and who buys it — is already answered. We keep what works, throw out what does not, and rebuild it properly.

Keep your domain and history

You do not start over. Same domain, same age, with redirects mapped so any rankings and links you have earned carry across.

Fix the speed problem

Oversized images and bloated plugins are the usual culprits. We rebuild lean, which is the single biggest win most old sites get.

Modern, not trendy

The goal is a site that still looks current in three years, not one chasing whatever effect is fashionable this season.

What we look at first

Before any design work, we go through the existing site properly: what pages exist, which ones get traffic, what is broken on mobile, how fast it loads, and whether search engines can even read it correctly. That audit tells us what to protect and what to bin.

The most common findings are the same every time — images uploaded at full camera resolution, a contact form that has quietly stopped delivering, missing page titles, and no mobile layout at all. Any one of those is losing you enquiries right now.

Protecting what you have

The genuine risk in a redesign is losing search visibility you already earned. If page addresses change and nothing points the old ones at the new ones, Google drops you and the traffic goes with it.

We map every old page to its new home with permanent redirects, keep your page titles and descriptions intact or improve them, and resubmit the sitemap once the new site is live. It is unglamorous work and it is the difference between a redesign that grows traffic and one that quietly kills it.

Common questions

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call and ask.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

Not if it is done properly. We redirect every old page to its new address, preserve your page titles and content, and resubmit your sitemap. Done right, speed and mobile improvements usually help rankings.

Can you keep my current host and domain?

Yes. We can rebuild on your existing setup or move you to faster hosting — your call. The domain always stays in your name.

My site is on Wix or Squarespace. Can you work with that?

We would normally rebuild it rather than fight the platform, then point your existing domain at the new site. You keep the address people already know.

How long does a redesign take?

Usually under a week once we have your content and access. Larger sites with lots of pages take longer, and we tell you the timeline up front.
